Problem
BIPOC and minority high school/college students face barriers accessing quality education, including limited resources, lack of mentorship, and financial constraints that make paid learning platforms inaccessible.
Solution
Skillify provides an interactive microlearning streaming platform with free educational content, bite-sized lessons (3-10 minutes), expert-led workshops, and AI-powered personalization to make learning accessible and engaging for underserved communities.
My Role
I led the UX/UI design process, including competitive analysis, user persona development, ideation through Crazy 8's sketching, low-fidelity wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping with animation. I focused on creating an inclusive, user-friendly interface with calming color schemes and intuitive navigation.
